RESEARCH LAB

Research lab of our department takes pride in having the most modern infrastructure
for basic as well as applied research. The lab has state of the art instruments
like Polyrite AD for biological data acquisition and analysis. The biological signals
along with the measured parameters which can be acquired and analysed include:

4. Respiration
5. Blood Pressure
6. Phonocardiogram
7. GSR
8. Pulse
9. Temperature
10. HRV analysis
11. Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Potential (BERA)
12. Visual Evoked Potential (VEP)
13. Somatosensory Evoked Potential (SEP)
14. Nerve conduction studies
We have a fully functional autonomic function testing platform. All the tests for
the assessment of autonomic functions are routinely performed at this platform.
The lab also has a treadmill which is the heart of the exercise lab. The research
lab not only caters to the need of undergraduate students but also plays a pivotal
role in the research activities undergoing in the department. The lab also provides
patients care services in the form of autonomic function testing to the patients
referred from various OPDs and Wards of our Hospital.

YOGA LAB
|
|
|
The department has fully functional Yoga lab which caters to the need of the patients
from as well as for quality research activities. The Yoga lab has Biofeedback setup
with Relax 701 software. At present the lab is actively involved in various research
projects running in the department.

COMPUTER LAB
|
|
|
The department has a computer lab which forms the hub of audio-visual academic activities
for both the undergraduate and postgraduate students. The department has various
interactive educational CDs for teaching and the students can avail the facility
in the lab during any time of working hours.
